So, when I got up this morning the branch had fallen off, so I tried to figure out if I should try to graft it back on and I did some research, and this is what I decided to do. I first cleaned the tools with alcohol, then I cut back the bark on the branch, then I picked a drill bit that was a tiny bit smaller than the debarked end, used my hand to drill the trunk, and stuck the branch in the hole in the truck. then I decided to put some Elmer's glue on it… I thought it seemed like a good Idea (I'll see if it was soon enough), and I watered it a bit. I hope they don't take this post down because I put this many pictures. hope this works, I like it to look like it did before it fell off. if it starts to die now, I'll try to propagate a few from it.

To preface my statement, I know nothing about grafting. I’m simply speaking on the visual appearance when I say it looks amazing! Interested to see what happens.
I don’t know anything about this and Imo that seems a bit unnecessary, since it would have probably forked out there. But you do you! I am a bit worried for yiu though bc zooming in it looks like you have mealy bugs.
I am also trying to bonsai a Ficus, a Crassula and a Portulacaria right now! Bonsai- buddies 🤜
I only pruned mine a week ago and it’s already happening! 🤜🌳💚

I can’t even make sure my succulent grow as it is without dying
and here I see someone making a Bonsai out of it!
Long way to go for me!!
How do you get the leaves to sprout so densely? My branches grow at least 4-5mm before another set shoot out.
Did you check that the Elmer’s glue wouldn’t damage the whole plant? In my (very humble) opinion the pruning would’ve grown anyway into two new shoots, so it’s normally just a matter of patience. I admire your attention to detail though, even if your endeavour doesn’t work out in the long term
Wow ok. Well worth a shot. I wouldn’t have thought of this personally but the surgery looks fun and if the plant is healthy it will probably work. Slightly concerning the beach fell off on its own though, that could indicate other issues.
Best of luck and I’m interested to see how this goes.
I have some dwarf jade that can handle being just about any level of pruning I seem to throw at it. That one grows outside in a pot though.
